Hey Hey,
Hopefully this will be the first of many blogs posted on here. We are putting this up as an attempt to stay in contact with students and leaders alike. This is somewhere that you can express your prayer requests, concerns, funny moments or anything else you can think of to put up! What you will need to do is just write in a comment on the blog after you have made an account. When you have done so just write your comments on the comment page. You can also make your remarks anonymous if they are personal.
2009 is here and we all have a God given vision and want for this year to be the best year ever at Xtreme Focus Youth Ministry! So please keep each other in prayer, support one another with love and let's grow closer as God moves and works in and around our youth group and community! We have already started planning ways of ministering to more people in new and exciting ways! So once again we urge you to continue support for our youth and leaders as God does an amazing work in 2009!
If you have any questions at all e-mail me (Patrick) as I will be acting as the web master for this new ministry. My contact information is:

Great idea, P-Diddy!
ReplyDeleteLet's all be in prayer for our revival this week! Looking forward to GREAT things happening in 2009!
I agree! This is a good opportunity to just let everyone know how you are feeling and anything you think we can do extra for people in and outside of church to just help them and even spread the word! I hope everyone is just excited as I am about this year! And I hope to see you all tonight at revival!
ReplyDeleteWell as you may have already figured out that the Week of Revival is over.... But the mighty move of God is no where near done. I really believe this week is what we needed as individuals and as a Youth Group as a whole. So i pray that the revival fire keep moving and for us to keep in mind that greater things are still to come!
ReplyDeleteHere's prayer request I received this week from a former student - please pray:
ReplyDeleteHey Mrs. Franklin. I just want to ask you if you, your family and your church will pray for one of my friends and her family. Her name is Cassandra Barnes. She is sixteen and she has had bone cancer and bone marrow cancer for about a year and a half. Around December 10 she was put in the hospital in Winston an she was told she had a blood infection. They told her, her family and her friends that there is nothing else they can do for her. They are just trying to make her comfortable. Her family and friends have been tryin to spend as much time with her as they can but through the week one of her parents have to go and stay with the other kids so they can go to school. Her parents haven't really worked very much and they have started to get to the point where they believe that God can't do anything either. They need our prayers and a miracle and I know that God does many miracles. So if you would please pray that she will get better and for her family if its God's will.
