Prayer Requests 1/19/2009

Here's prayer request I received this week from a former student - please pray:

Hey Mrs. Franklin. I just want to ask you if you, your family and your church will pray for one of my friends and her family. Her name is Cassandra Barnes. She is sixteen and she has had bone cancer and bone marrow cancer for about a year and a half. Around December 10 she was put in the hospital in Winston an she was told she had a blood infection. They told her, her family and her friends that there is nothing else they can do for her. They are just trying to make her comfortable. Her family and friends have been trying to spend as much time with her as they can but through the week one of her parents have to go and stay with the other kids so they can go to school. Her parents haven't really worked very much and they have started to get to the point where they believe that God can't do anything either. They need our prayers and a miracle and I know that God does many miracles. So if you would please pray that she will get better and for her family if its God's will.

Tomorrow a new man will step into the highest rank in the United States of America; I pray that God will guide and direct him as a leader of our country! We may have not voted for him but we now have this man as the leader of our country. I am also praying for this country to wake up to the immoral, selfish, and Godless state that is in. America has many lessons to learn and I am afraid not much time to learn them in before God pours out judgement on it for turning away from Him.

I pray that the Youth of South Gastonia Church of God, be set on fire like never before. Stepping out of our comfort zone and into battle as God equips us with His word, His power and His mission. I pray that in 2009 our youth show a generation what living completely sold out to God with pure, holy lives mean! I pray that the leaders of South Gastonia will walk into a new anointing and new level with God. I pray that with a few willing vessels and a strong determination not only our city, our state, our country but our world be turned up side down with the love of Jesus Christ that shines within in our hearts and it be outwardly spoken!

I pray for Victory Christian Academy that God do a miraculous work of revival and a harvest of new souls to be ministered to. That victory be known as a place of true Christianity by students and staff a like and to not just be a school but an out reach to many many souls !

I pray for the members in our church waiting on answers from God. That they will gracefully and thankfully wait on the hand of the Lord to move in the situations at hand. Because all things work together for good for those that love the Lord.

This is my prayer, I pray blessings over each and every person of our church and for all the needs that God minister to them in a way that only he can!

Amen

COME EXPECTING BIG THINGS WITH EVERY SERVICE THAT WE ENTER IN TO. Be in constant prayer and praise of your God. Be prepared to let him work and move at anytime! Now is our time God is calling, do you hear the mighty voice of our Lord ?
